Once your business has measure and produced a Carbon Reduction plan, the benchmark can be reported and the next step for you could be committing to a Net Zero plan in line with the UN Race to Zero Net Zero Coalition | United Nations. This means that instead of offsetting emissions, as a business you are making a commitment to organically reduce the emissions before offsetting is undertaken. Net Zero has rules around how much can be offset with the main aim to be Zero emissions.
